- --- The Bluegrass Blondies appearing on God’s Country KOJY 106.9 FM – KRNF 89.7 FM - The Bluegrass Blondies were excited to have the opportunity to share an evening with Chris Sprouse and Noelle Bales at God’s Country KOJY Radio Station near Bloomfield , IA on Monday October 6, 2014. We recorded several segments for Chris’ radio show, “A Couple Minutes With Chris” , a talk and music ministry airing 8:20am and 3:20pm daily on KOJY 106.9 FM radio. Chris has a gift from God in writing poetry, songs, and life stories. Not only does he have the gift of writing, but also in speaking and shared his testimony with us, touching our hearts! Noelle Bales is the magic behind the mic, creating a radio show from the chaotic fun we were having in front of the mic! The evening flew by with stories, testimonies, loads of music and fun! Then we polished it off with Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust Pizza (provided by Chris – Thanks Chris!!!) and a super “Pizza and Praise Party”! - I just wanted to let you guys know how much we appreciated hearing you at the SEMBA this summer. I knew as soon as I heard the Just Be You song...I wanted to buy the CD so I could play that one for my daughter! We've had a few really good conversations about what the lyrics mean (as much as a 7yr old can comprehend anyway), and it's become one of our favorites.Thanks and hope to see you next year! The Blondies are a family bluegrass band. Scott, Dawn, Taylor, Bethany, and Hallie have been playing together since 2008 and make many appearances throughout the area
